2DRPG

This is 2D RPG prototype game made for a University project. The game puts you in medieval fantasy world where you the adventurer try to make your name.

Current state of the game offers little story however it has few playable quests and around 10 different enemy types spread across 3 areas to battle.

The combat system is old school turn based system where fastest moving unit moves first. Heroes party can feature up to 4 heroes at any given time same goes for enemy monsters. 

There is only one playable area for the current prototype. 

Controls:

WASD for moving around world map. 

Space for interacting with NPCs

P and ESC for opening menus.

During combat only mouse is used although you can back from menus with ESC

Game has no actual tutorial but it is pretty intuitive in most areas.

Game made in Unity3d.

I programmed the entire game from using C# with visual studio as compiler.

UI was made in Paint.

Potions were done by Kat B. for different project but I got permission to use them for this.

All assets were taken from external sources link to art assets:
